Monitoring orders
The admin app's Orders screen is the operational heart of the admin job. It shows every order on the platform across every supermarket, with filters for status, supermarket, and time window.
What to watch for
A handful of patterns are worth keeping a constant eye on.
Orders stuck in "new". A supermarket has not accepted yet. After a few minutes, ping them. After the response window, the order will auto reject, which is a worse outcome than a quick acceptance.
Orders stuck in "ready for pickup". None of the supermarket's riders has picked up. Because riders on Tradar are attached to one supermarket only, the cause is almost always inside that supermarket's rider team: too few riders attached, riders offline, or the team is genuinely overloaded. If FreshMart has three orders sitting and only one of their riders is online, the answer is either to wait, to attach more riders to FreshMart, or to call FreshMart and tell them to bring more of their team online.
A spike in rejections from one supermarket. FreshMart suddenly rejecting one in five orders usually points to a stock count that has drifted from reality on the floor. Worth a phone call to the store manager.
A spike in cancellations at one supermarket. Often a sign of a delivery problem inside that supermarket's rider team (riders going offline, gear issues, a sudden traffic disruption that only affects their pickup point) rather than anything wrong with the catalogue.
The leaderboard
The Leaderboard screen ranks supermarkets and riders by volume and reliability. Useful for weekly check ins. The supermarkets with the highest rejection rates are usually the ones to call first. The top performing riders are the ones to consider when a supermarket needs an extra attachment.
